Sonicore Suppressors, a new brand from Lyman Products, introduced 11 suppressor models across four platforms for 2026, and they’re all priced under $300. We got our first hands-on look at these during SHOT Show 2026 and were lucky enough to shoot the centerfire rifle cartridges at the range earlier this week. With four modular designs for AR-style rifles, light hunting rifles, 9mm handguns, and .22 rimfire firearms, these affordable suppressors are already proving to be a hit.
Three of the four new Sonicore designs are licensed by a Danish company, bringing American shooters proven designs that are popular in Europe. Lyman rep Kyle Potenziani showed us the two centerfire rifle cans, the Rekkr, which is designed for gas guns, and the Paradox, which is meant for lever actions and bolt guns. Here's a closer look.
Rekkr
Designed for high-volume semi-automatic rifle shooters, the Rekkr is offered in .223 and .30 caliber in both direct thread and over-barrel configurations. This light, modular suppressor is machined from 6026-T9 aluminum with 303 stainless-steel baffle inserts and thicker wall construction for durability, as well as an integrated stainless-steel muzzle brake.
Paradox
The Paradox, designed as a lightweight hunting can, is also available in .223 and .30 caliber and in DT and OB configurations. Like the Rekkr, the Paradox features aluminum baffle modules with stainless steel inserts that form a strong steel core. It also has a black non-glare mil-spec hard-coat anodized finish and an integrated stainless-steel muzzle brake.
Skarv 22
The Skarv 22 is a light, modular rimfire pistol and rifle suppressor built from 6026-T9 aluminum with the same black, non-glare, mil-spec finish found on the rest of the Sonicore cans. It’s easy to disassemble for cleaning, which is handy on a rimfire can, while the knurled exterior provides a secure grip and improves heat dissipation. The 1/2x28 direct thread fits most threaded rimfires.
Valor 9
This 9mm pistol suppressor features eight baffles in its full-length configuration but is fully modular, so the user can tailor the length for the job at hand. The Valor 9 is made from 6026-T9 aluminum with a durable black mil-spec finish and knurled exterior. It features an integrated booster system and ships with a piston in one of two thread options: 1/2x28 and M13.5x1.0 LH.
MSRP on these cans ranges from $199 to $299, depending on the model. The company is already looking ahead with plans to create a .45-caliber pistol can, 6mm rifle can, and possibly an AK-specific can, so keep your eye on Sonicore.
