It’s looking more and more like 2026 will be the year of the suppressor, and the up-and-coming Silent Steel USA dove right in with new 9mm caliber options for its Streamer line of American-made cans.

These new cans will be on full display at SHOT Show 2026 in Las Vegas.

Veteran-owned Silent Steel USA is an independent U.S. extension of the well-respected and similarly named Finnish suppressor maker. This allowed the company to bring some proven European suppressor-making experience to the American market, along with some clever new technology.

That tech centers around Silent Steel USA’s Flow-IQ gas rotation system, designed to reduce backpressure, improve cooling, ease maintenance, and extend suppressor life. We’ve actually been testing one of the new company’s cans for a recent review.

Originally offered for 5.56mm and 7.62mm calibers, Silent Steel USA’s full-size Streamer, Compact Streamer, and Micro Streamer now include options for 9mm PCCs.

“Our mission has always been to build suppressors that perform at the highest level while giving shooters tools they can trust,” said Joe Shaffer, CEO and founder of Silent Steel USA. “Bringing the Streamer Series to 9mm PCC platforms was a natural evolution, and these new models deliver the same advanced technology and rugged construction shooters expect from Silent Steel USA. We are excited to bring another caliber option to the US market, and the 9mm is only the beginning as we work to introduce more caliber offerings in 2026.”

The new suppressor options are available in black, FDE, and OD green. MSRPs run from $999 to $1,499, depending on the chosen can size.
