Stoeger has expanded its Combat series of 9mm pistols with a .45 ACP option: the new STR-45 Combat. 

This full-size synthetic-framed .45 ACP handgun features a black nitride-coated slide, a high-traction grip, an undercut trigger guard, and interchangeable backstraps for customizing the fit to your hands. A lower tactical rail provides space for a light or laser, and the enlarged magwell helps with quick reloading.
 

With its 16-round magazines (three are included), the STR-45 Combat boasts a capacity increase over the standard STR-45 models. The 5.18-inch barrel is designed to match the .45 ACP’s powerful ballistics and is threaded at .578x28 TPI with an included thread protector. 

Sights are high-visibility, suppressor-height fiber optics with a fully adjustable rear and front post. The handgun is optics-ready and includes four mounting plates for popular optic footprints.

MSRP is set at $649 on the STR-45 Combat.
