Connecticut Valley Arms, once known mainly for its muzzleloaders, has shifted into an all-around hunting powerhouse with centerfire rifles and pistols, handy hunting shotguns, and a growing rimfire presence. We found out what’s new at CVA during SHOT Show 2026

Cascade Rimfire

In recent years, CVA’s Cascade family of bolt-action centerfire rifles has taken the hunting and competition shooting world by storm. Now, a newbie joins the team. The Spanish-designed Cascade Rimfire family takes many of those popular features and shifts them into a downsized rimfire build. At launch, the rifles are all chambered in .22 LR. They show an 18-inch threaded barrel with 1/2x28 threads. A factory installed two-piece Picatinny rail makes for easy optics mounting, and a removable LOP spacer helps customize fit to the shooter.

The new series will be available in three distinct variants: a Stealth Grey, more traditional walnut rimfire Classic, and an ODG/Black Web Cascade Rimfire XT. All three will feed from the same 10-round rotary magazine, which is compatible with 10/22 mags for versatility. The XT adds a fluted barrel with a Tungsten Cerakote finish and green painted stock with black fleck, while the Cascade Rimfire Classic pairs a blued barreled action with checkered walnut furniture.

The synthetic variants weigh in at 4.75 pounds, while the walnut version is heavier at 5.5 pounds. The Cascade Rimfires will be at home as a training companion for those with the comparable centerfire Cascade or as a standalone hunting, plinking, or competition number.

Retail pricing ranges from $399-$499, depending on configuration.

Endura Pro

Though technically debuted in fall of 2025, we’re just getting a good look at what might be CVA’s most advanced muzzleloader to date. The Endura Pro advertises “Long Range Accuracy,  Mountain Ready Mobility.” The .45-caliber Endura Pro uses a 26-inch fluted, threaded Bergara barrel. At 8.75 pounds, it’s significantly lighter than its related Endura LRH partner at 10.25 pounds.

The Pro is finished in Desert Tan camo with Nitride and Tungsten Cerakote finishes. Though engineered specially for Blackhorn 209 powder, it’s also rated for smokeless loads. There’s a Grayboe Eagle Pro Stock, TriggerTech trigger, tungsten-lined breech plug, and magnetic bolt face. It’s threaded at 3/4x20 for a muzzle brake.

MSRP is set at $2,099.

28-Gauge Spur

Last year, CVA launched a single-shot, break-action .410-bore turkey gun called the Spur, and and it’s now available in 28 gauge. The Scout Spur 28 wears a 22-inch barrel, extended turkey choke, optics rail, and adjustable cheek piece.

The Scout Spur 28 is available in Mossy Oak Bottomland camo with Patriot Brown cerakote or in OD Green with blued metal.

It’s available in two finish options: blued/OD Green or Mossy Oak Bottomland camo/Patriot Brown. Retail price starts at $544. We’re excited to see more manufacturers jumping onto the 28-gauge gobbler gun bandwagon. The round’s performance is significantly greater than the 410, and with little more recoil.

New Stocks

CVA’s fresh stock system is hitting Optima muzzleloaders, Scout rifles, and Scout handguns for 2026. The modernized polymer buttstocks use a pistol-grip style built on a buffer tube design, allowing for greater modularity than ever before. A bolt-on cheek riser gets the shooter’s eye more properly in alignment with an optic, while the buffer tube allows LOP customization for shooters of all sizes.

CVA is rolling out a new stock design across several platforms for 2026.
A new duck camo showed up on this Scout.

The Scout handgun family receives a modified style of this same stock – without the buffer, of course, but with added modularity allowing for the use of add-ons like a brace. The handgun was not available for viewing at the show but is expected to be ready later in 2026.

Scout XP-SB Debuts

An addition to the company’s proven single-shot, break-action Scout line of centerfires, the Scout XP-SB is a more compact variant dressed in the new stock above. The XP-SB uses a 16.5-inch threaded, fluted barrel. The customizable stock system makes it friendly for many shooters, and the list of chamberings appeals to hunters and shooters from small game to large: .223 Rem, .300 Blackout, .308 Win, .350 Legend, and 6mm ARC.
