Angstadt Shows off Some Great Cans, Guns, and Barrels at SHOT
We met with Rich Angstadt of Angstadt Arms in Las Vegas last week and got the rundown on the company's newest offerings.
First off, the North Carolina-based company has marketed its popular Vanquish 10/22 suppressed barrels for a minute, and Rich Angstadt told Guns.com that a variant of the same baffle-free ported barrel design, made specifically for AR-22s, just made sense.
Meet the Vanquish AR-22.

The Vanquish AR-22 will be offered in both 12 and 18-inch formats, each with a 0.92-inch bull barrel contour. The ported barrels are 416R with a 6061-aluminum shroud and a black Cerakote finish. They have a Sporter chamber, are full-auto rated, and use a CMMG dedicated .22 LR bolt. Angstadt says the barrel ports are tuned to bring standard-velocity .22 LR rounds to subsonic speeds for maximum suppression without having to use subsonic ammo.
The Vanquish AR-22 has an MSRP of $599.
F-22V
Running those barrels in Franklin's F-22 line of pistols and rifles is a win-win for everyone involved.
We caught up with the guys from Franklin about the F-22 last year and were excited about the program. Featuring machined receivers made from 7075 aluminum, an enhanced firing pin system for better ignition, and a 10/22 format design, the F-22s already ship standard with or without installed binary triggers.
Now, with the V series guns being full-time quiet, what's not to like?
Reticent 22
Angstadt's interesting new Reticent series rimfire can broke cover at SHOT last week. Just 5-inches long with a 1-inch outside diameter, it is roughly the same size as a Gordo cigar but is made from DMLS Grade 5 Titanium and only weighs 2.5 ounces.
The size makes it an ideal mate for guns like the Ruger Mark IV, Browning Buckmark, and S&W SW22 Victory without having to use suppressor-height sights.
