For SHOT Show 2026, Canik announced 25 new products, which is the most I’ve ever seen from the company. The Prime Radian pistol grabbed my attention right away, but once I stepped back to see everything they announced – especially the new optics line and Void suppressors – it became clear Canik is aiming to be much more than just a handgun maker.

Prime Radian

The Prime Radian is the upgraded brother of the MC9 Mete Prime, but beefed up by Radian Weapons. Seen here is the comped version, with Canik's new handgun optic, more on that in a minute.... (All Photos: Don Summers/Guns.com)

The Prime Radian is basically the MC9 Mete Prime from last year enhanced by Canik’s collaboration with Radian Weapons. The Prime Radian features Radian’s Ramjet barrel and Afterburner compensator, plus a Radian aluminum backstrap and magwell. All that noticeably improves recoil on this micro-compact 9mm. The optics-ready slide still accepts common footprints like RMSc, and the pistol carries 17+1 rounds with Night Fision tritium sights.

Sans comp and optic.

I shot the Prime Radian at the show, and it recoils considerably softer and gets back on target quicker than the original Prime. It’s a small package, but the Radian is flat shooting and makes it easy to take targets quickly. Expect the Prime Radian to start shipping around April.

Canik Optics

Canik launched something even bigger: Canik Optics, a full line of optics covering pistols, rifles, and precision platforms. Canik’s optics are built with IP67 waterproof ratings, solar-assisted illumination, auto brightness sensors, and at least 50,000 hours of battery life – everything modern optics need to have.

The Canik Knight series of scopes is sure to impress for the price.

For pistol use, the lineup includes both open-emitter and enclosed red dots in RMSc and RMR footprints. These are rugged units designed with reinforced housings and backup sights integrated into several models. They’re compact yet built to take abuse and keep running.

But they couldn't introduce optics without showing handguns some love with teh Onyx lineup.

The rifle optics include micro red dots, reflex sights, a 1-10X low-power variable optic, and larger long-range precision scopes. These magnified optics are built with high-end features, such as ED glass, illuminated MRAD reticles, zero-stop turrets, and 34mm tubes. That’s right in line with what long-range and precision shooters are asking for, as clear glass and repeatable adjustments for distance work. The first of these optics should be coming out in the spring.

Void Suppressors

Canik will also be offering a very attractive and affordable suppressor line this year.

Canik also announced a line of suppressors called Void. They are being built in partnership with Otter Creek Labs. The first of this line will be available in three models: 5.56, 5.56K and 7.62. They will feature stainless-steel baffle stacks with options for direct-thread or HUB-compatible rear mounts.

The design lets you switch front caps for either flowthrough, lower backpressure, or a more enclosed baffle stack. Price points are expected to start around $650, and availability is slated for around April 2026.
