Troy Industries Pushes the Envelope with Innovative Guns, Suppressor, and ARCA Rail
SHOT Show often brings a new perspective on longstanding companies like Troy Industries. You may be familiar with Troy mainly for its backup iron sights; however, the company is pushing the boundaries with several new products.
Troy T1
Troy is no stranger to government contract firearms, and the T1 rifle is just that. The Troy T1 has been in development for several years, and it won a NATO SOF contract last year. This rifle is offered in 14.5 and 11.5-inch barrel lengths and works off an A5-style recoil system with a slide/hammer-style two-piece stainless buffer.

The T1 features the Gen2 SOCC rail that Troy is known for, with laser-engraved texturing. There’s also a Pnuema charging handle, which is designed to vent gas away from the shooter when shooting suppressed.
Kryptos
Speaking of suppressed shooting, the T1 rifle was adopted in tandem with the Troy Kryptos suppressor. Recoil magazine named the Kryptos the quietest 5.56 can on the market, and the NATO SOF unit agreed. It is rare for a government contract to go to a rifle and can from the same company.
The Kryptos is a reflux-style suppressor that sits over the flash suppressor around the barrel. This adds volume that cuts down on the sound of the bullet, while adding only 4 inches to the barrel.
ARCA Rail
Troy has long been known for its handguards, and the new ARCA rail features an integrated ARCA mount for tripod shooting, which is much more secure than ARCA adapters.
It's a slim solution as well.
Troy has been long known for its incredible AR rails, and the company now has an ARCA rail that can easily mount to tripods. The ARCA-pattern adapter for tripods is popular with everyone from military to hunters, and it pairs perfectly with Troy’s MK11 sniper systems.
Vehicle Interdiction Gun

The Troy MK11 Vehicle Interdiction Gun was built after attacks in Nice, France, and New Orleans, Lousiana, where vehicles were driven into crowds of pedestrians. This ride addresses the need for a carbine that is the same size as a patrol rifle but packs the punch of a .308 cartridge. This rifle holds MOA and is only 36 inches long collapsed.
Personal Survival Weapon
The Personal Survival Weapon is a .300 Blackout or 5.56 integrally suppressed firearm with a Kryptos suppressor. These AR-style platforms include the Troy SURG handguard that contains the suppressor to keep the overall length short.
The PSW is built for buggin' out, it's integrally suppresses and rapidly deployed.
The stock can be easily deployed with little to no pressure, and the user can adjust length of pull. The 7.5-inch barrel is compact and makes it easy to store and rapidly deploy. The bolt carrier and buffer are one unified part, making it extremely soft recoiling, reliable, and quiet.
Troy is hitting the pavement hard with lots of line expansions and absolutely no compromise on quality. Everything is American sourced and American made at Troy’s new headquarters in the great state of Tennessee.
