Most people know US Palm just for grips and magazines, but that is about to change. The company has spent the last several years developing a new AR platform under Century Arms guidance and creating a new suppressor line with B&T.

Storm AR

In honor of their Florida heritage, these rifles are designated the Storm Category. There are three styles: the Cat 3 basic AR, the Cat 4 duty AR, and the Cat 5 competition AR. These ARs will be offered in rifle and pistol configurations, with Storm Green or black color options on the rifle.

The Storm AR will be offered in pistol and rifle configurations.
No surprise, the grip is US Palm doing what the company does best. The Hurricane muzzle device is a compensator and flash hider combo, with twisted prongs that follow the twist rate of the barrel.

The Storm series features 16 different patents. It uses a free-floated handguard with M-LOK mounting slot, a cold-hammer-forged barrel, and US Palm’s Hurricane flash hider/compensator hybrid brake.

The safety is a 45-degree throw and the Storm uses a Hiperfire EDT Marksman trigger. The entire design is ambidextrous, including the charging handle.

Everything on the Storm is ambidextrous, including the charging handle. The charging handle is also cut to help vent gas when shooting suppressed. All rifles will feature the Hiperfire EDT Marksman trigger as well as the US Palm reduced angle grip and Magpul stocks or braces.

Eye of the Storm Suppressors

US Palm also has a new line of 3D-printed suppressors designed in tandem with B&T. The line is called the Eye of the Storm and will include four cans. There will be two Inconel suppressors, both full-auto rated, with one in 5.56 and one in .30 cal, and one lightweight titanium suppressor. These three cans will all be HUB-compatible and feature flow-through technology.

The Eye of the Storm suppressors from US Palm were developed in conjunction with B&T. The top suppressor is the standard .30 caliber Inconel, while the bottom is the dedicated AK suppressor.
The EOS suppressors are designed to be flow-through and reduce backpressure. The baffles are a complex 3D-printed design.

The fourth suppressor is going to be a dedicated AK can. This .30 caliber suppressor is designed for the AK’s difficult threads and pays homage to US Palm’s history with the AK platform.

Long gone are the days of a company that only makes accessories. US Palm has massively grown its inventory into an impressive lineup.
