We visited with Jacob Grey Precision at the recent SHOT Show and got the scoop on two new all-billet pistols headed to market in 2026.

We've toured the factory and reviewed JG pistols, finding them to be the real thing. The secret to their guns is that they are built differently from mass-produced pistols. Every JG pistol starts from aerospace-grade billet, precision-cut in-house on their own machines, and then hand-fitted, inspected, and tested. They don’t cut corners with cheaper methods, cast parts, MIM parts, or outsourced parts. Every single bit of these guns is top-shelf.

New for 2026 are the Nox 9 and Hex Pro.

Nox 9

Immediately, when picking up the Nox 9, you realize it is something different. Crafted from 7075 aluminum billet, it has relief cuts everywhere and a hex pattern that locks in for superior ergonomics.

"We wanted to make the most ergonomic grip module possible," Tanner Bradley with JG explained.

Going past the grip, you get a 5-inch integrally compensated DLC-finished 416 stainless barrel, a matching DLC-coated 416 slide, and a 4140 steel frame. (Photos: Chris Eger/Guns.com)

How about that ported and comped barrel/slide arrangement.

The internals are all-billet, with a buttery smooth slide and crisp trigger.

Hex Pro

The original Hex series has long been a best-seller for JG, and the new Hex Pro jumps the platform up a notch with a 4.6-inch chunk ported barrel and slide.

Weight is 36.5 ounces due to its 4140 steel billet frame and 7075 aircraft-grade aluminum grip module. The frame is DLC-coated, while the barrel runs PVD.

It still ships with two 17-round mags, a crisp 2.5 to 3-pound trigger with over-travel adjustment, and a 9-pound recoil spring over a DLC toolless guide rod.

The MSRP on the Hex Pro is $4,800, while the more bespoke Nox 9 runs $5,800. Yes, that is a little steep, even running past Staccato, but, as JG says, "you’re not paying for shortcuts, you’re paying for confidence."

The Nox 9 is already shipping, and the Hex Pro is supposed to start shipping in the next week or so.
