Shield Arms had a whole new way of maximizing your handgun’s capacity on display at SHOT Show 2026 in Las Vegas.

The company’s clever DS Series magazines squeeze extra rounds into nearly the exact same footprint and are due to be released soon. The mags feature an over-insertion stop that is precision-stamped right into the magazine’s steel body. That’s something missing in many aftermarket Glock magazines.

That precision-stamped stop keeps the mags as reliable as the original factory versions.

"The DS-Series represents a breakthrough in aftermarket Glock magazine design," said Brandon Zeider, CEO of Shield Arms. "We've achieved what the market has been asking for: significantly more capacity in nearly the same size as factory magazines, combined with the over-insertion stop feature that ensures OEM-level reliability. These magazines give Glock users the best of both worlds – extra rounds when it matters most, without sacrificing the profile or dependable function they expect from their pistols."

Offering options that increase capacities by three rounds for common firearms like the Glock 17, Ruger RXM, and Glock 19, Shield Arms bumps that up even more with optional magazine extensions. Expect to see the new DS-18 (Glock 19) and DS-20 (Glock 17, 34, 45, 47, and 19X) magazines in the near future.
