One thing we noticed from day one of the 48th Shooting, Hunting, Outdoor Trade Show in Las Vegas this year was an abundance of "man's best friends" in attendance.

While the event this year, sponsored by the National Shooting Sports Foundation, saw 2,744 exhibitors spanning 834,500 sq. ft of floor space and counted over 53,000 two-legged attendees, the floor was dotted with the occasional four-legged variety as well.

Here are some of the best we encountered.

And now for the honorable mentions

SHOT Show taxidermy
SilencerCo could probably make a small fortune on these guys should they add them to their catalog.

Not real sure what was on this guy's head on range day, but it feels like it belongs here.

And of course there were tons of pretend pups pimping gear.

Riding on out of here...

We'll see you at next year's show!
