Ruger is celebrating the U.S. semiquincentennial – marking 250 years since the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 1776 – with a series of commemorative firearms.

For Ruger, which introduced a commemorative line for the nation’s Bicentennial in 1976 that is now highly sought after by collectors, the move makes sense. Each of the limited-production firearms in the new series is marked "Made in the 250th Year of American Liberty" and often carries a distinctive "Liberty Blue" finish.

At launch, the line will include at least three different 10/22 rifles, an LCP Max .380 ACP pistol, a Ruger American Rifle Gen II in .308 Win, a Mark IV 22/45 pistol, a convertible .22 LR/WMR Super Wrangler revolver, and a stripped AR lower.
