Texas-based Rost Martin added two new full-size, budget-friendly pistol models to its lineup for 2026: the RM1F and RM1F Tactical

We got to check out the guns at the NRA Annual Meeting in Houston this year. Both guns feature 4.5-inch hammer-forged match barrels, fully ambidextrous controls, and Rost Martin’s signature grip texture. They also come with double-action/single-action triggers.

"As we expand the RM1 family, the introduction of the RM1F series reflects our commitment to innovation and to meeting the needs of our customers. I am very excited about completing the RM1 series family with the introduction of the full-size," said Rost Martin CEO Chris Toomer. "This launch marks an important step in our growth, and we look forward to bringing even more new offerings to the market in 2026."

The full-size guns offer Rost Martin’s signature grip texture, which provides more of a tamed skateboard-tape texture on the side panels instead of many competitors’ raised stippling bumps. (Photo: Don Summers/Guns.com)

Both guns come with a standard 17-round magazine. The RM1F includes an additional 19-round extended mag, and the RM1F Tactical ships with a 24-round extended magazine. Both models are optics-ready, but the RM1F Tactical includes raised suppressor-height sights and a threaded barrel. (Photo: Don Summers/Guns.com)

Other enhanced features include a nitrocarburized steel slide and a flat-faced double-action/single-action trigger with a stated 5-pound pull. The company says there is also a California-compliant 10-round model coming soon.

MSRP is currently set at $468 for the standard RM1F and $519 for the RM1F Tactical. That said, we’ve been consistently pleased to see Rost Martin’s guns offered at Guns.com at considerably discounted prices, and we expect the same for these two.
