Tokarev ‘Butt Pump’ Takes Center Stage at SDS Arms NRAAM Booth
The SDS Arms brand umbrella encompasses Tokarev USA, Military Armament Corp, Inglis, and Spandau. At the NRA Annual Meeting 2026 in Houston, we caught up with the SDS team to see some of its most exciting new firearms and accessories, and we were not disappointed. Three of the company’s brands had lots of new products to showcase, including some designs that are sure to turn heads.
Inglis 2035

Starting with its modern take on the GP-35 Hi-Power pistol, Inglis has reimagined the classic Browning design in the same way that 1911s were upgraded with the 2011-style platform. After the modern Inglis 2035launched at SHOT Show 2026, the company listened to user feedback and swapped the original Delta Point Pro optic cut for an RMSC mount, which offers more optic options without overhanging from the slide.
And it's now cut for RMSc-footprint optics.
It's a smooth, low-profile fit compared to the earlier Delta Point Pro version.
The pistol keeps its 4.75-inch barrel, lightening cuts, and suppressor-height sights while maintaining compatibility with other Inglis Hi-Power clone internals and aftermarket parts. This blend of tradition and modern ergonomics makes it a standout and one of the handguns I am most excited to shoot.
Military Armament Corporation
The MAC brand has a proud tradition of offering quality firearms rooted in classic military designs. Not only are these reliable and faithful reproductions, but they are also affordable and make popular platforms more accessible to everyone.
M40
The MAC M40 precision rifle pays homage to the Marine Corps Scout Snipers.
The M40 features a 24-inch 5R rifled heavy barrel and an HS Precision stock.
The MAC M40 precision rifle is a .308 built on a Remington 700 short action with a 24-inch 5R rifled heavy barrel and an HS Precision stock. This rifle pays homage to the classic military precision rifle that was trusted by the legendary Marine Corps Scout Snipers and is designed for serious accuracy.
While the release date is still being finalized, SDS Arms is committed to rigorous testing to ensure every rifle meets high standards. In the beginning, the rifle will be offered in .308 but the company may expand it to 6.5 Creedmoor.
MAC Shotgun updates
The MAC 2 Ghost features a Sniper Gray finish.
This tactical 12 gauge is ready to rumble.
For shotgun enthusiasts, the 1014 and MAC 2 models have been updated with traditional polymer stocks in a Sniper Gray finish, with plans for subtle camo patterns. These updates cater to those who prefer classic stock styles over pistol grips, enhancing the versatility of these inertia-driven shotguns. These are incredible shotguns with strong reputations for reliability and performance, but they still come in at a fraction of the price of the originals.
MAC 5 and MAC IX Accessories
MAC has not only introduced an MP5 clone that is affordable and reliable, but also the MAC IX, which melds the MP5 design with a more modern AR-platform PCC.

MAC impressed with new accessories, including SD handguards for the MAC IX platform. This gives the user the ability to mount a suppressor that recesses into the handguard. These handguards were designed with the Yankee Hill R9 in mind, one of the thicker cans on the market. The clearance of the handguard is built to fit most 9mm suppressors on the market.
The SD handguard for the MAC IX was designed so that even thicker cans like the Yankee Hill R9 can fit inside the handguard.
Anyone who is a fan of the MP5 platform is probably familiar with the Surefire handguards that are hard to find and typically cost a mortgage payment to get. MAC has made its own flashlight handguard compatible with popular Surefire and Modlite flashlight heads. It features a lockout switch that’s harder to press to prevent accidental activation, and these will be available soon.
MSRP on this handguard is around $199, and it gives off strong Stargate SG-1 vibes. So, once it is released, I will be LARPing.
Tokarev TSP-12
SDS also introduced the Tokarev TSP-12 (Tokarev Stock Pump), affectionately known as the “butt pump.” It’s a 12-gauge shotgun with a unique charging mechanism: you pull the buttstock straight back to cycle the action. Only fans of unique firearm designs quickly made the butt pump shotgun the number one firearm to see at NRAAM.
The TSP-12 "Butt Pump" shotgun produced lots of smiles at NRAAM. The butt-pump action mirrors a standard pump shotgun ... but from the rear end.
On the left, we have the intriguing butt release. On the right, we have the bolt release. Together, you still get the full butt-pump action even on the semi-auto model.
This spring-assisted pump action has a 5+1 capacity and has been a crowd favorite for its fun and ergonomic design. A semi-automatic version is also available, using a trigger to cycle the action while keeping the distinctive charging style.
Judging by a few social media posts, there are a lot of opinions on the butt pump. Regardless of where you stand, it’s a fun, unusual design. Personally, I can’t wait to get a butt pump for my collection. The pump-action version of the butt pump is MSRPing below $300.
